      We all want to look good and feel good too, don't we? If the answer is in affirmative then, before you reach out for the latest beauty aids on the shelf, why not pay attention to what you eat, because it is a simple fact that what go inside you become you. A lot is being talked about good health and nutrition these days. What we eat is our primary concern. Our eating habits are affected by various factors like climate, culture, and life style. Sometimes it is also influenced by prevalent beliefs but these may not always be true. Here are some of the more common ones: MYTH  : Fruit juice is better for dieters than other soft drinks. Largely False  : Fruit juice certainly has a higher nutritional value with vitamins and mineral content than soda drink. However fruit juices, are high in sugar called fructose. They are very similar to sodas in calorie content. So, it is better to eat a fruit for the vitamin, mineral and other nutrients content and drink more water instead.   MYTH  : If I skip one meal a day, it will reduce my calorie intake and I will lose weight. False : Although it may work for a very short term, it fails altogether when followed for more than just a few days. The reason is Firstly, your body's metabolism is self regulating and if body is not ingesting fuel [energy], your metabolism automatically slows down to protect it. Secondly, most people who skip meals tend to subconsciously, compensate by eating more when they eat their fewer meals.     MYTH  : I need to lose a lot of weight quickly. I will go on a Fast weight loss crash diet for a couple of weeks. Very Bad Idea  : In over 95% of cases, people who lose weight quickly, regain all of it and more soon afterwards. Remember, its not weight that you need to lose, its body fat you need to lose, and that can not happen quickly. So if your rapid weight loss diet dehydrates you and waste away muscle tissue, your metabolism will slow down and you will gain weight rapidly after returning to normal eating pattern.                                                                   Best thing is to eat less food, more often.                                                            Eat Healthy Live Well
