Tip No. 1 Hair is a protein filament so it needs enough protein to grow long and lustrous. Sources of protein for vegetarians are beans, pulses, legumes, milk and milk products Non vegetarians have more variety than the above like meat, seafood, egg etc Adequate protein is essential for proper hair growth.     Diet is Just a Concept

    To begin with what is the concept of dieting? Eat less food? Stop eating your favourite food? Or maybe Just eat bland and "healthy" food????? When in a social gathering you don't feel like eating too much (due to various other reasons). How many of you have been asked the question if you are on a diet??? Quiet a few of us encounter the above situation and then we defend ourselves. But why? In my opinion there should not be a concept of dieting, instead it is only about lifestyle modification and eating the 'right food'at the 'right time'and the 'right quantity'. Well considering so many rights how do we know what is right and what is not? The answer lies within you.... You can be your own counsellor if you know what your body is telling you. If someone tells you eating an apple in the morning is healthy, but your body says NO I cannot digest it in an empty stomach. Then it is not good for you or maybe you read an article about the superfoods and plan to try it and your body rejects it. Each individual is different, hence the needs and requirements are different.     How to cure pimples/acne?

      Pimples and acne are common problems faced by people with oily skin.The is affected majorly that is the forehead, nose and the chin. In the summer months it becomes worse with all the heat and sweat. It can also be caused due to improper digestive system as well or hot and spicy food. It is also very important to keep your stomach and bowel clear for a healthy skin. Here are some tips which can help you deal with the issue: Arjuna or Kahu:The bark of this tree has large quantities of calcium. The ointment made by mixing the bark with honey is applied over the affected area and left overnight for best results. Cinnamon or Dalchini: A spice which is commonly found in our kitchens. Paste of cinnamon powder prepared with drops of lemon juice can be applied on pimples and blackheads for beneficial results. Coriander or Dhania: A concoction of dhania seeds and water soaked overnight helps clear the stomach and keeps the stomach cool.   Fenugreek or methi: Fenugreek seeds helps protect the stomach lining as well as cleans the intestines, bowels and hence keeps the skin clean and clear. Sandalwood or Chandan: A paste of sandalwood has a cooling effect on the skin. If mixed with mustard oil it removes pimples. In summers it should be applied daily to remove small spots that erupt due to heat. Can be applied to children safely. Garlic or Lehsun: Garlic heals many skin disorders. A clove of garlic rubbed on the skin several times a day removes pimples or acne without leaving scars. Taking garlic orally also helps clean the blood stream for a longer period of time. Boroline: Boroline that is available in any of the pharmacy stores is an antiseptic cream. a little bit of boroline when heated on a spoon and applied on the pimple makes it dissapear overnight. Caution: When heated boroline and the spoon becomes very hot, but apply before it cools completely. Do not apply burning hot as it might hurt or irritate the skin.
